Building On Past Mistakes

The game comes off the back of the sci-fi the last installment, launched four years ago to a negative response it struggled to overcome.

"We probably would find it impossible to make and develop this new game without the lessons we acquired in the last release," the manager explains to us.

A key those insights was to engage fans engaged soon, and the developers started closed player trials not long ago.

Their "response was incredibly positive," states she.

One more absent element from the previous installment was a story mode, which has been brought back for this release.

The Guildford team project head Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the one in charge of "guaranteeing those stages are as fun and interesting as feasible for the players."

Regardless of reports that the scale of the project had created pressure for the different studios working together internationally to create the game, Fas is upbeat about the endeavor.

Young Artist Contributes New View

That's absolutely true of at least one developer, VFX specialist Vlad.

The 21-year-old produces the lighting elements that shape the mood, tone, and focus of the story mode.

The artist undertook an training period at Criterion before securing a role with them, and currently is employed part-time while concluding his visual effects qualification at the university.

He states he's a dedicated enthusiast of the Battlefield series, and remembers playing the previous game of the series at a pal's home when he was in his youth.

"To know that I've put my personal touch into the title is really dreamlike."
